If you have a question about any of our activities (kart racing, arcade, mini-golf, laser tag, rock wall, and batting cages), click on that page on the menu to the right and scroll to the bottom of the page for the frequently asked questions about that specific activity.

EXAMPLE: If you wanted to know how old you have to be to race our go-karts you would click on the Indoor Go-Kart Racing page and scroll to the bottom.

You can also post your questions on our facebook-text-png page. Due to the high number of phone calls we receive, please look for you question(s) on our website before calling us. Chances are it's already answered here.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q: What hours are you open?
A: Below are our normal operating hours. Remember to check the Hours & Directions page for our summer hours, special holiday hours, and track closings due to Group & Corporate Events.

Q: Besides kart racing, what else do you guys have?
A: Over 40 Arcade Games with prizes, 4 Billiards Tables, Black Light Mini-Golf, Laser Tag Arena, Rock Climbing Wall, Baseball & Softball Batting Cages, a viewing area with 6 wide-screen tvs and free Wi-Fi Internet, Private Party Rooms, and Executive Corporate Conference Meeting Rooms.

Q: Can I rent the whole facility?
A: Absolutely. When the whole facility is rented we call that an Exclusive Event. We close the doors to the public (post that we're closed on our website), and the place is yours for however long you pay for. We can offer catering options as well as race formats for karting.

Q: I noticed you have company banners on the wall and kart decals of sponsors. What’s this for?
A: The Pit offers a variety of advertising opportunities throughout our facility. If an individual or company wants to get their product/service known, the Pit is able to provide many affordable advertising strategies. Anything from showcasing your product on our track islands (center sections), to large or small banners, kart decals, race suit patches, helmet stickers, time sheet ads, etc... If you can think of a way to advertise it, we’re happy to hear your ideas.

Q: How do I get a job at The Pit?
A: Visit our Job Opportunities page for details. Please read everything on this page before applying. Due to the high number of applications we receive please do not ask to speak with the owner or manager. This will not increase your chance of getting hired.
Q: Why should I become a member?
A: With a membership you have access to lower rates and monthly specials, which are not available to non-members. You can also buy races and store them on your card. The more races you buy at one time, the cheaper it is per race. As a member you also have access to our Endurance Races and Leagues.

Q: Why do I have to sign your Safety Waiver?
A: Our Safety Waiver verifies all information you entered into our kiosk for your customer profile is accurate and that you understand and agree to follow all of our safety rules and procedures for each activity. The Safety Waiver also states that we will never give out or sell your information.

Q: When I do a credit card transaction over the phone or in person, do you keep my information?
A: No, we only create customer profiles with basic information. We never store or keep any billing information. Again, all customer information is strictly confidential and is never given out or sold.

Q: What did this place used to be before a kart track?
A: The building used to be a textile factory which produced a variety of products including curtains. There used to be two floors where the kart track is (notice the doors on the wall). You can also see some of the trolley tracks in the floor where the assembly line was.

Q: When did you guys first open?
A: We first opened the kart track on December 28th of 2007. We had a grand opening to the public later in January. The arcade and laser tag (upstairs) opened later on May 10th, 2008.

Q: How many Goodyear tires did it take to build the track?
A: 3,350 Goodyear tires.

Q: How long did it take to build the kart track?
A: The kart track took around 3 months to build.
