How do I get a job at the PIT?

     It depends what position you want. For track marshals and cashiers we prefer individuals with previous work-related experience.

A common misconception is you have a better chance of getting hired if you have driving/racing experience. We don’t care about driving experience, we prefer hard-working individuals who are customer friendly, and get along well with our staff.

Anyone is welcome to drop by a resume and fill out an application but these are only reviewed if we're hiring. There is no need to follow up after you apply; we will call the individuals we know are qualified.

- Cashiers -

* Must be at least 16 years old (If under 18 - work permit).

* Outgoing, customer friendly.

* Good at doing quick math.

* Quick learners with our POS Software.

* Self motivated (Complete tasks without being told).

* Reliable.

- Track Marshals -

* Must be at least 18 years old.

* Must be capable of running quickly.

* Quick learners with our track procedures.

* Must be able to lift 75+ pounds.

* Must have common sense.

* Self motivated (Complete tasks without being told).

* Able to get along well with our current track marshals.

* Customer friendly.

* Reliable (Can't be late anytime).
